Internship Opportunities

Minority Internships

The IGERT program in Archaeological Sciences supports several students each summer to work with IGERT faculty in their campus labs. Applications are through the Summer Research Institute, run by the University of Arizona's Graduate College. Students must be available for 10 weeks and earn 6 hours of credit. The funding package includes a financial award of $3000.

Applicants should mention that they are interested in mentoring in a topic related to archaeological science and send a copy of the application to the IGERT Coordinator, Dr. David Killick. The deadline for applying to the 2006 Summer Institute is February 1. Please visit the web site for the Summer Institute.
