Lambda Pi Eta (National Communication Honorary)
The official Communication Studies Honor Society of the National Communication Association (NCA) Get to know the department faculty and other top Communication students. Get one credit towards your major. Get recognition at graduation (and it looks great on your resume). Volunteer work, fun socials, VERY interesting and helpful guest speakers. As an accredited member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS), Lambda Pi Eta has nearly 300 active chapters at colleges and universities worldwide. Membership is required and a cumulative GPA of 3.25 along with junior standing is also required.

Communication Honors Program
The undergraduate Honors program in Communication is intended to stimulate and challenge our very best students and to invite them into the working world of professional communication scholars.
To be admitted to the Communication Honors major, students must complete Comm 101 & 228 with grades of at least B in each, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5.

Arizona Communication Association (ACA)
ACA is the largest professional Communication organization for faculty, graduate students, undergraduate students and business professionals in Arizona. Membership is required to be a member of ACA and is good from September to August of the given year. Members receive an ACA journal, a quarterly newsletter, and registration to the Fall Conference, and Spring Speaking Festival.
Western States Communication Association (WSCA)
WSCA’s purpose is to unite people in the Western States who have an academic, lay or professional interest in communication and who want to promote their mutual educational interests. Although membership extends throughout the nation and internationally, membership is predominantly from Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Alaska, and Hawaii.

National Communication Association (NCA)
NCA is a scholarly society and as such works to enhance the research, teaching, and service produced by its members on topics of both intellectual and social significance. Membership is required.
