The Department of History maintains an extensive mailing list of alumni, community members and friends who are interested in learning more about Department events and programs. Mailings are sent, periodically throughout the year, inviting our “Friends of History” to attend events, such as our Mystery in History Dinner Lectures and the Fall Alumni Reception and Lecture, to announce the retirement of a beloved history professor or to participate in various programs or lecture series offered throughout the community. Any and all fees collected in support of these events and programs help to fund Department of History scholarships, community outreach projects and events, and other educational programs.
